TRIM

Before each burn, trim your bamboo wick to approximately ¼ inch. This encourages an even flame and helps minimize soot.

FIRST BURN

Allow enough time for the wax pool to reach the edges of the vessel. For most Coastly candles, this takes approximately 2–3 hours and helps prevent tunneling.

BURN TIME

Burn for 1–3 hours at a time. Avoid extended burns, which can overheat the vessel and consume fragrance and wax unnecessarily.

EXTINGUISH

Use a candle snuffer when possible. Allow the wax to cool completely before trimming or handling the wick.

Discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains.

PLACEMENT

Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, fans, direct sunlight and flammable materials.

STORAGE

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sun.
